Perfect for: Kids with gluten allergies
No baking required, fun to make, naturally sweet!
Ingredients: (watch out for allergies!)
- 1 ripe banana
- 6–8 fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla gluten-free yogurt (dairy-free if needed)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Mini muffin pan or silicone ice cube tray
- Paper cupcake liners or silicone muffin cups (optional for easy cleanup)
Instructions:
- Prepare your tray
Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners, or use a silicone tray for easy removal. - Slice the fruit
Peel the banana and cut it into small slices. Do the same with the strawberries. - Mix the yogurt
In a small bowl, stir the yogurt and honey or maple syrup together (optional for extra sweetness). - Assemble the bites
- Place one slice of banana at the bottom of each muffin cup.
- Add a spoonful of the yogurt mixture on top.
- Finish with a slice of strawberry on top.
- Freeze
Place the tray in the freezer for at least 2 hours or until the bites are completely frozen. - Enjoy!
Pop them out and eat right away. They’re cool, sweet, and perfectly bite-sized!

- You can switch out the fruit for blueberries, peaches, or raspberries.
