Perfect for: Kids with gluten allergies
No baking required, fun to make, naturally sweet!

Ingredients: (watch out for allergies!)

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 6–8 fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla gluten-free yogurt (dairy-free if needed)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Mini muffin pan or silicone ice cube tray
  • Paper cupcake liners or silicone muffin cups (optional for easy cleanup)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare your tray
Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners, or use a silicone tray for easy removal.
  2. Slice the fruit
Peel the banana and cut it into small slices. Do the same with the strawberries.
  3. Mix the yogurt
In a small bowl, stir the yogurt and honey or maple syrup together (optional for extra sweetness).
  4. Assemble the bites
    • Place one slice of banana at the bottom of each muffin cup.
    • Add a spoonful of the yogurt mixture on top.
    • Finish with a slice of strawberry on top.
  5. Freeze
Place the tray in the freezer for at least 2 hours or until the bites are completely frozen.
  6. Enjoy!
Pop them out and eat right away. They’re cool, sweet, and perfectly bite-sized!

Tips:

  • You can switch out the fruit for blueberries, peaches, or raspberries.
  • Make it fun by letting kids build their own combos!
  • Store in a sealed container in the freezer for up to 1 week.
