Theme: Edible little animal friends made from fruit—part snack, part art!
(Watch for nut and other allergies!!)
Ingredients:
- Seedless grapes (green and red)
- Strawberries (cut in half)
- Banana slices
- Mini marshmallows
- Chocolate chips (mini or regular)
- Long toothpicks or bamboo skewers
Optional extras:
- Peanut butter or sunflower seed butter
- Yogurt for dipping
- Mint leaves for decorative “wings”
Instructions:
- Create the body: Slide grapes and banana slices onto a skewer to form a caterpillar or a worm shape.
- Make the face: Use half a strawberry as the “head,” and attach chocolate chips or mini marshmallows as eyes using a dab of peanut butter.
- Add flair: Use mint leaves or sliced strawberries on the sides to give your critters wings or spikes!
- Serve chilled: Pop them in the fridge for 15 minutes to make them extra refreshing.
Fun tip: Let kids name their fruit critters and draw a label for each one!
