Joshua 1:9 Be strong and courageous Do not be afraid The Lord your God is with you wherever you go!

God told Joshua, “Be strong and brave! Do not be afraid, because I am with you wherever you go.” God wasn’t saying Joshua would never feel scared. He was saying that even when he did feel scared, he would never be alone.

Sometimes you might feel afraid too—maybe on the first day of school, when you have to try something new, speak in front of others, or sleep in the dark. God knows those feelings, and He promises to be with you just like He was with Joshua. God goes with you to school, to church, to your room at night, and everywhere you go.

Being brave doesn’t mean not being scared. Being brave means trusting God even when you are scared. When you remember that God is with you, your heart can feel stronger and safer.

Prayer:
“Dear God, thank You for staying with me wherever I go. When I feel scared, help me remember that You are right beside me. Help me be strong and brave with You. Amen.” 💛
