Verse:
“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God.”
— Psalm 95:6-7a (NIV)
Thought for Today:
Have you ever been so excited about something that you just had to tell everyone about it? Maybe it was a new toy, a fun vacation, or a big accomplishment at school. You couldn’t wait to share it because it made you so happy!
Worship is like that — but even better! Worship is how we show God that we love Him, that we’re thankful for all He has done, and that we know He is the most important one in our lives. When we sing songs, pray, read the Bible, or even just sit quietly and think about God, we are worshiping Him.
Worship isn’t just something we do at church on Sundays. It’s something we can do every day — at home, at school, outside when we’re playing, even when we’re helping others. Worship helps us remember that God is with us all the time, and it helps our hearts stay close to Him.
When we worship, we tell God:
- “You are awesome!”
- “Thank You for loving me!”
- “I trust You with my life!”
And guess what? Worship isn’t just good for God — it’s good for us too. It fills our hearts with joy, peace, and strength. It reminds us we are never alone, and that our God is mighty and loving.
Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for giving us so many reasons to worship You! Help me to worship You not just on Sundays, but every day. I love You so much! Amen.
Today’s Challenge:
Pick one way to worship God today! Maybe sing a song to Him, say a prayer, draw a picture about something you’re thankful for, or tell someone else how great God is!
